HEALTH & SAFETY

Health & Safety Are Our Priority

COVID-19 POLICY AS OF 2/21/2022

MASKS REQUIRED– Here’s why:

Ophelia’s Jump Productions asks our audiences to join with us in providing the safest space possible for patrons, cast, crew, and staff. Our COVID-19 policy requires all ticketholders to wear masks to protect our cast members and others from infection.   After being shuttered for two years, small theater companies like ours need to keep our doors open to be able to keep providing jobs for artists and other arts workers. If our cast gets infected which is more likely if the audience is unmasked, it could necessitate cancellation of performances and substantial added expenses and loss of revenue.  As a small nonprofit company, Ophelia’s Jump’s mission includes keeping ticket prices as low as possible to increase access for all.  We must fundraise a large portion of the costs of each production and cannot readily absorb further COVID related costs and disruptions.  Studies have shown that masking with KN95 or N95 masks is very effective to prevent spread of COVID.  While we will have ventilated designated spaces where you can enjoy snacks and drinks unmasked, we ask that you help us keep our cast and employees healthy and our door opens by masking up while indoors at the theater.

Ophelia’s Jump Productions requires all audience members to provide proof of full vaccination along with a government or education issued photo ID upon arrival or to provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test as explained below.

Guests who need a reasonable accommodation for medical reasons or due to a sincerely held religious belief must provide proof of one of the following:

  • Negative COVID-19 PCR test performed by a medical provider within 48 hours of the performance start time. The test results must clearly show the date and time of the test. At-home tests will not be accepted.

OR

  • Negative COVID-19 rapid antigen test performed by a medical provider within 24 hours of the performance start time. The test results must clearly show the date and time of the test. At-home tests will not be accepted.

OR

  • Negative COVID-19 rapid antigen test available onsite at Ophelia’s Jump which you can take just prior to entering our venue.  Please arrive at least 45 minutes prior to the performance if you plan to take an onsite rapid antigen test.  This test will be available for a fee to cover our costs.  More information about onsite testing is available by calling our box office.  Ophelia’s Jump makes no representation or warranty about the accuracy or efficacy of any COVID-19 rapid antigen test and will not be liable for any costs connected with any test result.  If you test positive, you will not be admitted to the venue and your ticket will be exchanged or refunded.

Children under 6 will not be admitted to the theater.

This vaccination policy is in effect for all performances until further notice and will be re-assessed on an ongoing basis. This policy is subject to change at any time. Prior to your performance, please check for our current policy updates on this page.

All California residents may request a digital vaccination record at MyVaccineRecord.cdph.ca.gov.

Please note that these health and safety measures are subject to change, at Ophelia’s Jump’s sole discretion and based on evolving health  and safety guidance and conditions.

PROOF OF FULL VACCINATION OR NEGATIVE COVID TEST WILL BE REQUIRED.
